So, I turn on CNN, and to my surprise, my timing was almost perfect, Ms. Palin approaches the microphone and begins talking. Why almost perfect? Well, I missed the live introduction from her soon to be leader John M.. Oh well, I really did not want to hear him anyways... Then I started listening to what I thought was one of my favorite long time actresses, Sally Fields! Yeah, there was something pure, warm, a little funny, pragmatic and passionate about her. I was liking her, and getting scared for my man Obama.

For the previous four days, I was emotionally drained, and literally, have not physically cried as much as I did in consecutive days in my 46 years of living. Although I was listening to this woman, and hearing little tidbits of the policies of the Republican Party that makes my stomach sick and stressed out, it was overshadowed by the charm I saw in this lady.

Yeah, she is inexperienced, but, I have been hearing this about my man Obama for months. I have been telling myself, as well as the spin masters, that it doesn't matter. I still believe it doesn't matter, even with her. It is sound judgment, and the ability to build a well qualified team. Unfortunately, as Donald Trump said about a year or so ago on the Larry King show, America could be a great superpower again, if we just could employ our best and brightest. We clearly recently have not done this. Our best and brightest are being highly recruited to go work for Google or Wall Street. We need a president that can attract these people to government. Fine, I don't care if they go on to make millions after they have served; but we need them now!

So, I said all of that to say, little Ms. Sally Fields Palin, just like my man Obama does not need experience. She needs JUDGEMENT! After I slightly fell in love with her, in the same way I have fell in love with (or simply just liked) some of my favorite movies/movie stars who played in Political/Presidential movies like Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Bullworth, The American President and especially the movie Dave, the bottom line is, is her views are not in the realm of today’s reality.

This lady is not pro-choice. Folks, this is big. We must never forget how big this is. She is a big time gun supporter. Bottom line, although she has fought some within her own party, "maverick" style, she is still one of them. No matter how you look at it, and spin it, she is still one of them. If God forbid, John M. dies, how would the world look at her as cute little Ms. Sally Fields? The answer is, more of the same.

Living here in Japan, and also traveling the world, I tell you my fellow US Citizens, America is looked upon as the New Soviet Union. We have been and are still HATED! This could not be changed by little Ms. Sally Fields Palin. Get REAL! Hillary holdouts, get over it, and if you don't, face the truth of the matter and let your REAL feelings be known, you are either anti-black or anti-man or a combination of them both. If this is the case, fine, just let it be known. But to switch over to John C. or Sally Fields Palin, defies logic. (Or perhaps, you never believed in these "TODAY" democratic principles. All through the campaign, pundits, scholars and everyone with any degree of common sense, agreed that not much separated Hillary and Obama. Nothing has changed. What Obama does bring to the table is sound judgment. He will attempt to do what Donald Trump suggested to Larry King, and that is to surround himself with the best and the brightest! If you have been observing his campaign, you will see that he has done exactly that. No one in history has ever run a smoother campaign and has raised so much money. Look at the early stages of Mc Cain’s campaign, in debt; look at Hillary's campaign, 20+ Million dollars in debt! Not only did Obama show judgment in going against the war, he shows he knows what to do with money!

So, to conclude, yeah, I am worried about Palin. I like her. I think millions of others will also. However, if WE, those of us whom ARE NOT prejudice, man haters and war mongers, can just digest all the poignant facts that were articulated last week at the Democratic Convention, then I think the choice STILL remains obviously clear, that our choice should remain OBAMA/BIDEN. Too much is on the line. If you want Sally Fields, go watch one of my favorite movies, Forrest Gump.
